2021 Addie May Graham Scholarship

"In November 2019, a little girl named Addie May Graham tragically passed away right after spending the day touring BYU campus and attending a BYU football game. Addie loved math and was determined to major in engineering at BYU one day. In her pocket was a note she wrote that said, 'I LOVE BYU'.

Around the one year anniversary of Addie's passing, members of the family called and asked if we could set up an endowed scholarship to BYU in her name. People came out of the woodwork to donate and we established a permanent endowment for a full tuition scholarship forever. It's one of the greatest things I've ever been a part of. So many miracles occurred.

The BYU Alumni Association for Orange County received an overwhelming number of applicants for the scholarship this year. The committee picked the perfect candidate in Aliso Viejo, and it was our pleasure to award the Addie May Graham Scholarship this year to Lauren Mackin." -Gil Bradshaw, President BYU Alumni Association for Orange County
