The Crystal Apple Awards are a special way for high school students at Aliso Niguel, Laguna Beach, and Laguna Hills to recognize and thank the teachers, coaches, and staff who have had a positive impact on their life. This free event is a chance for our whole community to say thank you to the people making a difference in high school education.

Nominations are open now through March 20th, 2026. Please help us get the word out.

THIRTEENTH anniversary awards ceremony

We will award this year’s six winners at our Thirteenth Anniversary Crystal Apple Awards Ceremony at 7 PM on Sunday, April 26th, 2026. Two winners will be chosen from each of our local high schools. The awards will be hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 22851 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo.

We’re hoping to have our best year ever! Here are some of the plans:
-NBC4 News Anchor Chuck Henry is hosting again!
-Handel’s ice cream will be served after the ceremony!
-We are inviting all high school students to wear school spirit gear or team jerseys!
-The whole community is invited: parents, families, high school students, teachers of all grades, past Crystal Apple winners, school staff, and civic leaders!
